RAM changes...

Failed RAM could affect system stability if it's not done right. Sure you've got the right type? Anything else you're not sure of (even to the slightest importance?)

Would anyone have any ideas on what i could do now? i have tried it with battery in and with no battery in and it does the same thing :(

So you're saying that the computer just turned on and turned off? Or it didn't turn on at all? Or it turned on, booted for a while, then turned off?

M_I_C_H_A_E_L: Well i put it into "sleep" mode and went to work. Came home, lifted the screen up, done what i usaully do (Touch the power button which brings it out of sleep mode) and nothing was popping up. It was sounding like it wanted to load up but nothing, just the black screen.

What can i do?

I bought it April last year

If you need more info please ask

Isn't most laptops these days comes with a 12 months warranty? You should find your receipt and get them to fix it before april?

Manhinli: I pressed the power button, it made the booting up sound then turns off and then back on and repeats this. It lasts for no more than 5 seconds and nothing pops up.

Sounds more like the hard drive is shot, ... don't quote me though lol, not being able to see it and hear it the sounds would tell if the fan going and no tick tick tick from the hard drive trying to read than that'd be it.

The dreaded ticking hard drive... hmm.

I would have a similar restart problem on my laptop, when a USB flash drive was plugged in and wasn't bootable. Apparently, the USB port was set to be booted before my HDD, which I corrected by rearranging the order. (Strange though...)
