Can anyone point me in the direction of a service manual for an Acer Aspire V3-571G?

5 years old & chugging along quite happily, but the ethernet card is acting up. Trying to work out if it'll be easier to replace the card, or just give up & get a whole new device.

Thanks in advance.

This might be it:

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/440323/Acer-Aspire-V3-571g.html

Looks like the ethernet port is embedded in the motherboard.

Might be easier upgrading the wifi card to a fast ac type.

Yeah like most laptops, it's on the motherboard. Either Wi-Fi or USB Ethernet adapter.

Could try the fix mentioned in this reddit thread

Thanks Jon. Looks like the good old days where everything was a pull-out/pop-in replacement are well long gone.

I've tried the reddit solution too & see what happens over the next couple of days. Looks like the original poster on that had same issue & the solution provided for them.

If not I guess, after nearly 5 years, it's time for a replacement.
