You are either brave or naive.

 

Ouch! That feels harsh! Firstly CClearner is not Avast, the AV software. Nor are they the first or last security company that will be hacked.

 

 

Yes CCleaner is not Avast but Avast couldn't find malware hosted on their own servers? Also Avast already had an email/password leak a few years back.

 

In  Brazil we have a saying "case de ferreiro, espeto the pau" which in old English would be "the shoemaker's son goes barefoot".
