I found this PCMCIA to USB card on DSE website.
It is for my boss, who wants to plug her 2.5" Digitus Ext HDD which currently requires both USB plugs plugged in.

She hates cables all over her desk, and gets sick of unplugging her Printer or Mouse in order to use 2 of her existing USB ports (she only has 3).

Does anyone know/tried/have working, an ext 2.5" hdd possibly 160GB, from a PCMCIA to USB adaptor?
I cannot find any information on how much power is delivered via the ports direct from the PCMCIA slot.  So this is difficult to work out, without wasting $50

Yes, well that was what caught my eye, and made the caution bells ring.
Hence, asking if anyone has used/using to do something similar.

Your boss should upgrade her archaic laptop.
