Ok, I bought a compaq and im trying to find out whether it has a webcam or not. The sticker on the laptop says theres an intergrated webcam.

Theres 2 holes on top of the screen, one near the center, and one to the left. Im guessing the center one is the webcam and the one on the side is the microphone.

problem is my skype says it cant detect a webcam. I cant find it anywhere on the control panel.

and when I tried installing a webcam software, it said no webcam detected.

am i missing a driver or something?

A webcam would be very obvious, as there would be a lens there approx 2mm in diameter. It would not look like a pinhole, which the mic can. This usually has a picture of a mic next to it.
According to what I see online, it does not come with a built in camera.
