Hey hey guys great sitealways get the answers that i need
anyway i use a program called studio 9 to make movies some of which are phenomenal (so ive been told)
my problem is converting them to a smaller format to e mail or just anyway i can get them out in the world so people can see what i can do
with studio i have the option to make disc,mpeg avi or share
any help would be much appricated

You should use mpeg formats, they are smaller the AVI. If you can select a codec, I suggest you use DIVX.

With Studio 9 the 2 options for you would be:
  1. Convert to Real Audio or Windows Media=-once rendered allows to send file by email
  2. Share for the Internet-onto Pinnacle website
  3. Convert to Mpeg 4-click on the mpeg button
As Mauricio suggests there are other formats which you casn convert too if you use something like TmPGenc
