Click on OK to term...
Click on CANCEL to debug...

and when i press ok or cancel it comes up that my laptop will shut down in 1.00 min.

also the sound has gone completly off and all i can here are warning beeps.

i have tried ad aware to fix this but half way throu the scan the computer always frezzes and i have to resart it again.
I have also done a number of virus scans and it comes up with nothing!!.

Is there any way i can fix this or should i just format the hardrive???

I don't think this is a virus. It looks more like a hardware fault, probably memory. You should have it checked.

99% of the time that will be caused by faulty memory... But theres a chance its a screwed Windows installation.

Its always worth trying a format and reinstall before looking at hardware. It solved that same issue for me years ago.
