Hi my laptop hasnt being going propley lately and hopefully you guys will be able to help me out.

when i turn it on it comes up with this..

The instruction at "0x0067bc70" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to term...
Click on CANCEL to debug...

and when i press ok or cancel it comes up that my laptop will shut down in 1.00 min.

also the sound has gone completly off and all i can here are warning beeps.

i have tried ad aware to fix this but half way throu the scan the computer always frezzes and i have to resart it again.
I have also done a number of virus scans and it comes up with nothing!!.

Is there any way i can fix this or should i just format the hardrive???

I don't think this is a virus. It looks more like a hardware fault, probably memory. You should have it checked.

99% of the time that will be caused by faulty memory... But theres a chance its a screwed Windows installation.

Its always worth trying a format and reinstall before looking at hardware. It solved that same issue for me years ago.
