Can't help you much with that except to tell you my iriver clix didn't. Though like the ipod it does remember where you left off. Also the latest ipod touch 2G firmware tells you how many minutes you have left on each "chapter" depending on how you have the audio files organized. On the upside, the ipod touch does have a new app out that properly uses bookmarks in regular "text" books and even has pages turning that LOOK like real pages turning.
