So my wife needs a cheap mp3 player for when she exercises - any hints? Only looking at paying 30-70 bucks.  These are what I have been able to find so far....

Thanks in advance!

yeah, looks pretty sweet that might be the one unless someone has any brighter ideas!

I've got the older Samsung like the one you suggested. The good thing about them is the screen which is actually quite helpful. The worse thing about it (maybe the newer one will have better firmware) is that when songs run into each other (e.g. live concert etc) it sometimes has a hard time with the transition. Not just the expected "blip" (i.e. no crossfade) but sometimes stuttering. It's no problem if there's silence at the end of a track. A pretty minor problem actually since most music is not like this.

You'd have to take your lady's tastes into account. I personally wouldn't want one that didn't have a screen at all, but that clip on one is pretty tidy.

I ended up going with the DSE one in my original post, thanks for your guys input. I liked the blue clip on one, but didnt have a screen, and the one I orignially posted had a screen, clip and fm radio for only 5 bucks extra, now I just have to pray to the shipping gods
