Got an email today (no I didn't subscribe to it, someone put my name in the list) about this Telecom Ultra Fast Fibre Broadband page.

The page has an old video (August 2012, below) and some blurb about UFB, etc. Still no word on Telecom UFB plans but I wonder if this is a signal things are moving into consumer space soon.

Thoughts?

Those pages have been there for a while now (I first noticed them maybe two months ago) so it doesn't look like anything new has happened over the past few days. I think I heard April for commercial availability, but don't quote me on that :)

Yeah, these pages have been up for quite a while. They have only just changed it it 'Ultra Fast Fibre'. I can't remember what they called it before but I know that it has changed.

"Stuff" is always in the works. "Stuff" is always good. Until new "stuff" comes after "stuff" when the new "stuff" is better. "Stuff" is always coming.

Well I could show you some of the stuff I am working on and the stuff is pretty cool stuff that will have a very positive impact on a whole raft of internal Telecom systems... but there wouldn't be any difference for customers.  But I will know it's different :)

It's customary to link "Valve Time" or Blizzard's "Soon" at this point before we hit godwins.
