Yeah, clear out the DNS cache in your router by restarting the box, and if you use Windows, open a CMD prompt and do:

ipconfig /flushdns

on all machines.

You can also check what it's the Windows dnscache with the /displaydns switch. Unfortunately, there's no grep to pipe the command output through in Windows, so you have to do something like...

ipconfig /displaydns | find "zdnet.com.au"

What am i seeing?

IF (and thats a big IF around Amcom) TNZ can pull off the Powertel and Amcom purchase, and maybe iiNet through takeover, this would be a huge strategic win for AAPT and ultimately TNZ. In one clean sweap, we've seen the australia's second biggest fixed network and perhaps two ISPs bought up by Telecom.

Im not going to pretend to be some expert on this but if we want to see more spent on our adsl infrustructure, telecom has to please investors. What better way to do this then secure more revenue elsewhere in the mid-long term. Powertel is key to whatever they have planned.

This was just put up when i was posting

Woo I can work for Telecom ^o)

nah if Telecom do end up buying iiNet (through Powertel/Amcom) I'd definitely say interesting times are ahead.
