What signal are you referring to, DSL Ethernet or Wifi.

WIFI strength, I have an XBox 360 in another room and with my current WIFI modem I get a weak signal so I am hoping the one telecom give out is better and can give me a better signal.

Hi, for gaming you are better off trying to run a cable.

My modem is downstairs so I can't run a cable to my Xbox, I rely on wifi. That's why I need a good strength.

Looking at my stats would you say it's feasible to get VDSL, and if so what could I expect?

DSL VPI/VCI: 0/100
DSL Status: Showtime
DSL Mode: ADSL2+
DSL Channel:
DSL Upstream Rate: 1176 Kbps
DSL Downstream Rate: 11777 Kbps

Down up
DSL Noise Margin: 12.3 dB 11.0 dB
DSL Attenuation: 25.5 dB 11.3 dB
DSL Transmit Power: 0.0 dBm 12.8 dBm

Unlikely with an attenuation like that... Unless you've got really poor wiring but that doesn't bode well.

If you aren't in a rental place... Worth drilling a hole and running a bit of cable yourself, or getting the professionals in.  If it's a rental ask the landlord really nicely :).  All gaming really does benefit from having a wired connection, plus having interleaving turned off as long as you're close enough to the Cabinet/Exchange.

How do I do wiring myself? Is it possible to send VDSL through the wiring already in my house (Not rental) so that it can come out through any phone jack.

I've put up a blog article on setting up conditional DNS forwarding on this router. Maybe helpful for the Unblock-Us users out there.

Oh man today my speeds are horrible. Can't watch a YouTube video without buffering. Telecom advertise no more buffering. 2mbps down 2mbps up.
