Indeed, but it still hangs.

I notice the 1st trace seems to time out regularly when i randomly trace.

Is this the connection between computer and modem?

Do a ping to trademe.co.nz please.

It appears you're just having wireless issues (caused by wireless interference), your best bet is to change the wireless channel to one less used.

To be honest I don't think it's that. I think it's (by the looks) - looks like he's running Windows 8.1 which has issues with the Technicolor routers + DNS along with wireless interference.

Running Windows 8 without the update to 8.1, i doubt my connection would even survive the download of it at the moment to be honest.

Ive tried the modem/router on auto then selected channel 6 as per a WIFI app and all my devices reflect the sluggish performance i see on my pc. Iphone, Apple tv, macbook air and my wifes imac.

I too thought it was a wifi issue so i assumed the hardwired connection would be flawless but this too shows the same issue which is even more annoying as this is my online gaming rig which i get kicked from servers for high ping quite regularly now.

Yep, you may well be right. Particularly the FEC errors in the 1 day uptime looked a bit high though.
