Is thee anyway to tell where this server is hosted as it seems to be ~10mbs faster than any other speedtest. http://www.telecom.co.nz/internet/existingcustomers/overview/testyourspeed/

Yes, it's located in Auckland. It is very soon due to be retired from speedtest duty with multiple newer servers around the country being deployed as I speak.

I tend to get much the same with that as with Telecom's speedtest.net server in Auckland. I wondered if they were one and the same, but it doesn't appear so. Which other speed test sites are you comparing it with?

They are currently on the same box, but Ookla and speedtest.net vary slighty despite being done by the same people.
