I'm looking at moving to Telecom prepaid from on-account Vodafone. I'm wondering about the "Free calls to any telecom mobile or NZ landline when you top up $20 or more".

This seems to good to be true. I want to confirm I am understanding this - if I have a Telecom prepaid sim and I top up $20 on Feb 1st, for the rest of February (anytime, not just weekends or something) I can call Telecom mobiles and landlines for free? and this will all happen again when I top up another $20 on March 1st?

The reason this doesn't seem right is that on my Vodafone on-account I pay an extra $20/month for Vodafone Family, which is 4 specific Vodafone numbers to call each other. But Telecom offers the same thing, not for a couple of specific numbers, but their entire network, for free? I must have this wrong. Am I missing something?
