Well I got all excited for awhile.

We lost internet yesterday around 4, got it back close to 6
kept going past 11pm yesterday - yipee
kept going past 10am today - yipee

3.50pm today - Gone

I do hope some progress is being made somewhere as patience is wearing thin, and information from Telecom is scarce

Usage for the month 5412.07GB

Wow, 5,412 GB - and that is with the connection broken half the time! Has to be a world record.

What on earth is TC doing?? I feel for you - not good enough.

Well, Telecom has people looking at this. What we're not doing is giving a day by day public update of the status of our investigations. From early on in this thread you'll find acceptance that something is clearly funky here.

I'll see who I can jab on Monday - The people looking at this aren't typical helpdesk staff - they are senior engineering personnel and they don't generally work 24*7. For one thing though, and I'm sure you've worked this out - don't worry about overage charges... The numbers you are seeing are clearly bogus.

Cheers - N

and then maybe we can talk about the $70 to date in data charges i've incurred.
Don't get me wrong I appreciate your help and input, but this is costing me and my business - and then there's the kids...

I've kicked off a line test, and the billing folks are looking into the backend (sorry I have been a bit busy these last few days to get back to you... Blame Talkiet.. laughing)

As I said in my PM to you about 4 days ago, if the issue is a Telecom issue (and I think we all agree that this is just about a certainty), then you will not be financially disadvantaged here.  We will take care of any overage etc costs.
If you have an upcoming bill which has those costs on it, then please give us a call on 126 (business) to register a dispute against the overage (and reference your trouble ticket number).  Then just pay your usual amount on the bill.

We are committed to getting this issue sorted, but you need to be patient as we conduct this investigation.

My views are my own, and may not necessarily represent those of my employer.
