Hi

We have ordered fibre and have recieved this new HG630b modem as it supports asdl Ive replaced the old
telecom modem with this one so its setup in the home lan while we wait for the fibre install

now its seems to be working but randomly its redirecting any website to the telecom setup
page and help

doesnt seem to matter what url .. as can see its working as Im on geekzone

I left the asdl settings as default.. do I need to alter anything like settings

like latency its got path0 ticked but not path1

has UBR and vcmux 0/100

could it be timing out or loosing connection or perhaps a bug in firmware?

it dont seem to have check to see if new firmware is available button. so not sure if its current
I would assume it is.. since telecom would of flashed it with their settings right?

cheers

No need to change ADSL settings - you're not using ADSL anymore, so those have no effect whatsoever.

Which websites are redirecting? All or only some? Does it always happen for the same sites? Where does it redirect to? (URL please).

Try switching your computer to the Google public DNS. Follow the Windows section of this page: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using (You're using IPv4).

yes modem.router is using asdl... as I said I connected to the phone line while the fibre and ONT units are installed

however i resolved the problem... I disabled the VDSL settings on the router and rebooted.. never got
it redirecting after that..and still working on asdl

but maybe telecom was having issues that day.. dont know but all working good after that.

today they put in the fibre to side of house from street.. tmorrow the rest is installled
where I will switch the asdl for the wan instead

so tomorrow we will finally be getting OFF asdl to UFB
