Last night at 23.45 I received a txt purporting to be from Telecom 7466 as follows:-

From Telecom: You should now be receiving a text(s) that will change your phone's settings. Save these settings using PIN: 1234 if needed.

Anybody have any idea what this is about? Certainly nothing else has been received since.

Thanks In Advance for any pointers that will stop me scratching my head.

My mother-in-law in Tauranga got one as well when she turned on her fone this morning .  Called and asked me what it was.  Said have no idea..

Wonder if it was a APN setting for LTE??

Regards,

Also got the same thing, but from Skinny. saying Shortly you'll be sent settings to allow your phone to work on the internet. If asked, enter 1234 to save them / Skinny
