How can Telecom claim this to be true, "Yahoo! the world's number one email service provider."
When Gmail is number one and hotmail is number two. Maybe in the 1990's it was true but not in 2014

depends on how you define 'number 1'.  If they don't define it, then that leaves it open to just about anything.

most subscribers?  most revenue?  highest rated customer service?  most emails sent? etc etc

If Yahoo is 'number 1' on any of those they could claim to be 'number 1'

Far out DaveB, that was harsh, I hope Yahoo have a massive tub of burn cream.
