It would appear as though there are issues with Xtra email via Email Client. Friends with Xtra addresses report the same problem.
Tried my Xtra email account using Thunderbird and Windows Live Mail..Receiving is intermittently working and sending doesn't seem to work at all. When sending I get a prompt for my username and password...which, when tested in Webmail, work perfectly well.

My settings are the usual:
- Port 995
- Port 465

Tried on webmail and incoming mail is OK so far and sending works OK too.

Anyone else experiencing this?

EDIT: There's an alert on the Telecom site

I wish they'd learn basic English. Not the first time for this error. Perhaps a template needs to be corrected?[/firstworldproblems]

Yes, I have clients affected also. Sadly when this happens, some clients can't help themselves and start guessing and entering their forgotten password, hence they usually end up with the wrong one in their email client and no mail when the problems fixed at Yahoo's end.
