Hi I am at wanting to know which cabinet on on at the moment?

use this page
http://www.chorus.co.nz/network-upgrade-map
remove all the layers except the broadband ones which shows approximate cabinet areas

and this page
http://gis.geek.nz/infrastructure.html#chorus_cabinets
to work out which cabinet sits in the area you reside in

pretty simple and reasonably accurate

pretty simple and reasonably accurate


It's amazing to see how some large areas are covered by one cabinet.

Also Note that not all the cabinets are shown on the gis.geek.nz site (just those that could have their location derived from the chorus tables and dosent incluced exchanges)
