BigHammer:
Yabanize: Got connected to it. Got a speedtest, it wasnt that great because I had low coverage at the time. Still 24.86/6.93 is pretty good for 1 bar of coverage. This is awesome :D

Just watch out for the data use with speed tests on 4G. Could easily go through 70Mb or more per test!

I know someone ran two speedtests on Vodafone 4G (it was very fast by the way) and burnt 400MB of data.

It depends if you're on 3g or 4g and what speed you get. if you get like 80mb/s it uses over 100mb

My nexus 5 experiences a bit of signal drop since the launch of 4g.
Anyone experiencing similar problem?
Located mainly in Manukau.

3g is 850MHz (travels far and deep)
4g is 2100MHz (travels near and shallow)

And if you read the thread you'll find that 4G is not enabled for iPhone on Skinny yet, hence your slower speed and lesser volume of data on speedtest

One less reason to stay on telecom prepay then.... Might have to cut my old skinny sim down to size and see if it is still active or not and give it a blast.

Hi

We have made a change over the weekend that should fix any 4G issues with Android devices (e.g. coming up with the out of quota message).

Unfortunately still no date on iPhones.

Cheers

Paul
