GEOMAX: good to see xtra has a reply that can be found on google search but although it is signed off it is still occurring on pop3 access.

My ...@xtra.co.nz address is nothing more than a backup (which I don't need because my own server almost never goes down), so I don't particularly care and thought it was just a recurring problem with my setup. But it happens every few days!
Can it really be that bad?!

Yep.
The issue will be with yahoo. The issue is allways with yahoo. The issue will allways be yahoo.
Telecom will have to wait it out, just like the rest of us.
The problem telecom now has is the help lines will be completely jammed up with users who cant get their email to work.
This is a real issue for those ringing Telecoms internet help desk for non-email issues, they simply wont get through.
