Have you previously set up text alerts with CourierPost or was that out of the blue?

When did you preorder? On Open Term or 24 Month Contract?

Getting nervous now. I'm a new customer, open term and paid outright. Except they never emailed me to change my order (just the two confirmation orders), and actually took the outright cost from my account. So I must have slipped through the cracks for the payment to go through.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I haven't had anything from CourierPost (open term, ordered first thing on Friday morning) but the latest message that I've had from Spark says that I should get the phone on the 26th and that they'll be in contact if that's not going to happen. It's getting a little nerve-wracking (especially as I'm heading overseas shortly and need to get it all working before that) but I'm reasonably confident that it'll all work out.

I'm having the phone sent to my work address so CourierPost may skip the signing process and not send me a text (it's registered as a business address).

Hi,

I also ordered open term plan at about 8am Friday. I emailed them today asking for a track and trace number and got a email saying i should get my phone Friday 26th but they will contact me if their is a delay.

Also talked to a customer rep earlier in the week - who said the order has been allocated - but haven't got much faith in that!

If you have been receiving positive messages regarding delivery for tomorrow after ordering at 8am on Friday, that makes me feel confident in my order (open term) I placed soon after midnight on Friday.

Hard for me to understand why Spark are unable/unwilling to provide confirmation of delivery status before tomorrow, while Vodafone seems to have been able, uncharacteristically, be fully transparent and helpful in this procedure (re thread on how a customer received confirmation of delivery yesterday).

Their customer service team seem to be sending generic messages to everyone - im not holding out for a new phone tomorrow morning.

Just received a Twitter DM from Spark stating I wouldn't be receiving one tomorrow. I signed up on an open term plan at midnight last friday, which leads me to believe they are now prioritising people who have signed up to 24 month contracts.

Very disappointed considering all of the positive public communication Spark have said over the last week regarding the likelihood of preorders being shipped this Friday. Why set expectations so high when in reality it was always very unrealistic?

Edited to include DM

That's a shame. did you pay via Credit Card or "pay with first bill"?

And what phone did you order?
