Im tired of Spark, so I'm just gonna sit and wait for my phone to arrive. Hopefully it comes sooner than 12 days from now, which is the time spark told me would take on live chat today.

On another note, my Poetic Atmosphere case arrived for the 6+. just need the phone to slide it in the case!

Spark chat told me that if you preordered before 26th its going to be 11 days from now. If you order now however, it will be 3-4 weeks.

I hope that's right about the 11th, I'm also in the Case but no Phone club. Just got the following email from Spark;

"Your iPhone 6 Plus has been delayed.

We recently sent you an email to let you know your new iPhone 6 Plus was on a plane. We genuinely thought it was, but it turns out Apple didn’t ship as much stock as planned. We’re waiting for the new shipment to arrive which may take 3 – 4 weeks. That’s not ideal, but since you’re in the queue, you’ll have your iPhone 6 Plus before anyone new – and before they’re available in our Spark stores.

Here's a little extra for waiting.

We understand this is frustrating, so if you’re happy to wait, we’ll credit your Spark account with $100 as soon as your new phone is couriered to you.

If you’d rather cancel your order, that’s fine too. Just call 0800 00 55 33 and we’ll sort that out. But before you shop elsewhere, it’s worth checking their delivery times. Don’t forget, iPhone 6 Plus deliveries are taking longer than expected, wherever you buy from.

So chances are you’ll get one just as fast from us. Plus, you’ll get that $100 account credit on your Spark bill.

Frustrating, but a better attempt at communication than before, and I'm pleased to get $100 for the inconvenience. Will use this as an exercise in improving my patience.

Went into a Spark store to double check I made the right size choice for me, and the phone is amazing. Worth the wait.

Glad to see acknowledgement of an upsetting 'Pre-Order' process.  Interesting you don't see the word 'sorry' or 'apologies' or 'apologise' in that email. The $100 credit will go a long way to smooth things over for most. Pretty sure nobody was expecting that, sure beats a $5 case or screen protector.

Now, I'm not good as maths but let me try:

- Wife and I ordered 2 iPhone 6 Plus 128GB totalling $2898, with the $100 credit - thats 3.45% discount.
- For the person who pre-ordered 1 x iPhone 6 Plus 16GB totalling $1149, with the $100 credit - thats 8.7% discount (lucky buggers).

I'm still wishing I had of ordered our 2 phones from Apple on launch date as we probably would have had them in 3 or 4 days from now.

I truly hope that this is a 'template' email sent to everyone who has preordered at anytime over the last two weeks.
If this is the case, they would have simply stated a delivery time of 3-4 weeks to ensure that they did not disappoint any of their customers.
Hopefully since most of us ordered early on Friday morning two weeks ago, that it does not take another 3-4 weeks for us to receive our phones.
If it is truly a 3-4 week wait, it would equal a total of 5-6 weeks including preorder time!!

Well , I have received my case, and my Tempered Glass protector, and also a 100$ discount on the phone from Spark. All that can be done now is sit and wait for the phone.

Let the waiting continue....

I think we're all frustrated at the situation but one needs to remember Apple has all the carriers by the short 'n curlies so it isn't as though Spark is deliberately holding back or stuffing around. Personally I've settled with a HTC One M8 until there is sufficient iPhone 6+ stock and it comes off contract so that i can walk into a store and purchase one. I guess the situation is made worse by the fact that the iPhone went on sale in china and within 6 hours they sold 2 million phones - I guess there will be many workers happy with the over time at Foxconn in the coming months ahead.

Well I gave up on Spark on launch date and ordered on apple website. Have got tracking number and will be receiving on Tuesday.

Ordered two, so will be selling one :)

As I said in your sale thread. I've delayed my upgrade waiting months to switch from android, and you have the exact model I'm now being told by spark will be a further 3-4 weeks
Wish spark had realised their numbers were way off earlier, I was ready to order from apple this time last week but had the naivity to believe my preorder would arrive before a launch day order.
