I don't have the email handy right now, but as it mentions porting it may only be for new customers; are you two already Spark customers?

Behodar: Got a second order confirmation email for my open-term order, so it's definitely been accepted. For some reason they've tampered with the delivery address, but it'll still get to me.

There's a note on the confirmation that I can initiate the number port myself as soon as the SIM and phone arrive; I don't need to wait until 3 Oct. There's a phone number to call, which is apparently an automated service.

What does the second email say?

I ordered on term and didn't receive a second order confirmation email.

did you mean 2nd email confirmation of the order you made ?

Beholder mentioned a second order confirmation email, I only got the initial email which tells me I will hear from them confirming the details and information regarding my order.

I have just received my second order confirmation email.

Basically it just once again confirms my details and also mentions that if the preorder is completed by 24 September, they will dispatch before, so it will arrive on the 26 September.

I'm home now and have a full keyboard again :)

Hi Behodar

Thanks for choosing Spark.
We hope you love your new iPhone 6 (64 GB) Grey mobile phone. Here’s all the info you need to get started. Have a read through, and maybe even hang on to this email in case you need it down the track.

Here’s a rundown of your order details:
(stuff)

Your phone is coming soon!
If your pre-order is completed by 24 September we will dispatch your iPhone so it arrives as close to launch (26 September) as possible. Stock availability could be limited, meaning there is a chance that delivery could take longer - we’ll keep you posted if this happens. The address we have for you is:
(removed)

If you’ve got mobile accessories coming too, they’ll arrive in a separate courier package.

Your new SIM card is due to be connected on 3 October at 12 noon

Once it’s hooked up, we’ll disconnect your old one. If your new SIM arrives earlier – even better. Call 0800 55 00 45 when you’re ready for us to transfer your number. If it’s before 1.00pm, we’ll do it within 4 hours. Call any time after that and it’ll be hooked up after 8.00am the next day (excluding weekends).

I received the second confirmation next day. I think people who placed order same night will be lucky enough to get it by launch day.

Yup, I just received the second email too.

It does say in the email : "If your pre-order is completed by 24 September we will dispatch your iPhone so it arrives as close to launch (26 September) as possible."

So hopefully we will get in on friday too. I think they would have mentioned it on the preorder page if stock was not available.

Grateful for the opportunity to pre-order, the moment the pre-orders opened we ordered a couple of 6+ phones (one each for the Wife and I) - received order confirmation for both.  To help seal the deal, credited our Spark account $2900 to cover the cost of both the phones.  Gutted when Spark emailed the next day trying to push us into a 12 or 24 month interest free deal instead.  Went from a situation where we were getting both phones, to not likely to get either phone, now apparently going to get one phone and either wait for the second shipment for the second phone or get a credit and order elsewhere. Been a customer of Sparks for a Gazillion years, wish they'd just said "Cracker Mate, thanks for your continued business.  Enjoy your new phones"

Got my second e-mail this morning.

They have put me on 24 months interest free. I would prefer to just pay it all on the first bill, but for 12c I might just use that for a little while!

Hi ________

Exciting! We have your new iPhone order in place!

Just so you know, the Pre-order for a new iPhone 6 or 6 Plus on no contract required Interest Free Payments.

As Interest Free Payments were missing from your order, we have set them up for you over 24 months. This means the cost of the iPhone will be spread over 24 months, starting from your next statement.

Sorted.

Kind regards

******

No way in hell.

I've had the same. I ordered it with a one-off payment (and would have paid it there and then if the credit card system wasn't broken) but they've switched it to monthly. I don't really mind either way though.

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH SPARK!

I ordered two on the day, then they emailed me saying i can only have one

They are now trying to force me to get into the 24 month interest free, and stay on their plan now!

I use to love spark, but now they are forcing me to turn away!
