norton.com doesn't work for me, but www.norton.com redirects to nz.norton.com  which also resolves if you type that in, but www.nz.norton.com is a no go

Hmm.  Hope this is not a repeat of last weekend as some overseas site are going real slow again.  I can't access Outlook.com or hotmail.com.   I get the log in prompt  but just a blank screen when I log in and have been having problems this afternoon sending emails to Orcon via port 587 again.

Edit.  Getting send / recieve errors  from outlook.com again as I got last weekend..

Regards,

Old3eyes

ok sorry its not actually norton.com, its www.norton.com which redirects to nz.norton.com, neither work for me.  Same on my s3 connected via wifi on the same connection, however switching to vodafone 3g works.  Was working earlier on today and I only noticed when trying to restore files from a norton online backup for a customer, restore operation errored out with "check internet connectivity", worst part is ive got 29gb of photos to recover and im having to do it in 2gb lots to avoid any failures and starting right back at square one again.

I can get the page, but it took a long time to load. Hopefully not another weekend with dodgy internet connectivity.

Working okay here. ADSL2+ Invercargill, using Telecom assigned DNS.

Latency to the Aussie server looks a little high, around 130ms. But loads okay.

Looks like a lot of people are having trouble with international access on their facebook page this evening. Not unless that number of complaints in a short period is normal. I'm having the dreaded xtra outlook email pop up appearing again this evening , with email server error, so not sure if that is also related to international problems, as yahoo is offshore.

Try xero.com - no go.

(spark).

Not a DNS issue.
