Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a Huawei P7 from Spark and signed up for their mobile insurance as my last three phones have all had issues under warranty but because I had dropped them could not get it covered.

Does anyone have experience with Teleco insurance and what claims they have and haven't accepted?

If I was to be walking along the street, drop my phone out of my hand and smash the screen or drop it water somehow would I be covered?

The policy wording is always sneaky :
"We will not pay anything under this Policy if: You do not take all reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, damage, theft or breakdown"

Accidental damage as you described is typically covered. Leaving your phone on a table, walking away then coming back to find it gone wouldn't be as you haven't taken due care.
