Hi there

Do Spark now offer true naked broadband for home users .
From memory, you previously had to have a Spark mobile a/c to get Naked Broad band ?
My land line ph isnt even plugged in, so I can do away without it. Or use 2Talk prepay .

I assume I would still have to pay line charges, so would there be any worthwhile savings ?

Its not clearly explained on the website.

Cheers

If you want no term naked broadband, happy with email support, savvy with configuration - you could try Spark lil brother, BigPipe(https://www.bigpipe.co.nz/#/home).

For Spark - go here: http://www.spark.co.nz/shop/internet/

Bigpipe has Online support only. Thats going to be a pain if the internet goes down.
:-)

Thanks for the Spark link. That explains things .
Seems I only save $10 if I stay with Spark & go Naked

Do you have a smartphone with 3G or 4G? Then it should be totally fine.

We're the only ISP in NZ where you will never ever have to wait on hold  :P

I documented my experience with regards to bigpipe online support in my blog here.

The response time is fast. I found it less hassle as I don't have to wait for the call to be answered and can go about and do what I need to do while waiting.

If you have smartphone - you can either Hotspot or just use the phone to reply email.
