Has anyone managed to get the homepage to port 8080 rather then 80? I self web host and I'd like to continue doing so far I can't find an option to do so. I have read the guide they have on the Spark Website but it doesn't automatically move like it does with my NF4V(Orcon's supplied router and sadly I can't keep it)

Would be great if I can do this with out flashing the vf firmware(I did look before and flashing it was the only answer but I really don't want to do this).

Not sure what you mean by port 8080.

You want to redirect external 80 traffic to an internal 8080, or,

you have a x.x.x.x:8080 but you want to have domain.com instead of domain.com:8080

Would love to direct traffic to domain.com but the router homefront page keeps coming up and not the domain.

Looked at that and I don't really want to flash it. Has to be another way around it.

I have never tried a SRV record this way, but maybe

_http._tcp.example.com. 86400 IN SRV 0 10 8080 server.example.com

Or, pay for a DynamicDNS that supports port forwarding

Buy your own router and use it instead. Will allow you to do whatever you want with it re: port forwarding.
