Hi,

I have a customer that I reset up their xtra email

because they keep getting a password error.

Its all been working for a couple of weeks but now the same thing has happened again.

Message saying username and password is incorrect.

get then to try & login to webmail .
Sometimes they need to login to webmail to authenticate/re-enable the a/c

Also, are they using that 1 email a/c on more than 1 device. That has been known to cause similar issues in the past

Is this an intermittent error , or does the password error just popup intermittently & then work OK the next day ?

Friends dont let friends use the yahoo bubble

Basically some process, feature or policy is screwed within yahoo, and because spark wont drop them, customers have to deal with the yahoo mail problems.

One major result of this is that yahoo locks your @xtra account for no apparent reason.

You simply have to go to webmail.xtra.co.nz and login. Once you see your inbox folder, you can open outlook and get pop3 access again.

I don't use xtra, but I frequently have to re-enter my password when using pop to access my yahoo email.  It seems pretty random.
