Why not switch to ADSL/VDSL now, then upgrade to ufb when available?

Probably better to have the same ISP managing your ufb install as the one who has your copper line. Means you avoid the potential problem of ufb install screwing up but your copper ISP cutting you off because you already gave them notice 39 days prior.

I signed up about a month ago and got connected yesterday. Haven't heard anything about either a free month (which wasn't promoted on the site when I applied) or Lightbox (which was). Should I be following this up?

The Lightbox voucher can take a few days to be sent out, free month is automatic if you're eligible.

I lost my Lightbox voucher from Bigpipe (I think my wife deleted the email, and it got purged from deleted items).

Saturday just gone (30th) was the first chance I had to activate the Lightbox free six months. I sent Bigpipe a support email, they replied on Sunday morning (so really, after the promo had finished) saying that it would be fine, and it was.

Thanks Bigpipe for the free six months. Now Lightbox is on the ATV4, I will go and buy one. (just waiting on you, TVNZ....)
