I'm hanging on for an upgrade because I feel like this list of handsets at http://www.spark.co.nz/shop/mobile/phones.html hasn't changed for ages and I have a serious case of FOMO.

Does anyone have insider information or educated guess as to when this page gets updated with latest handset offerings?

Lol I didn't mean it literally. Please don't post confidential information.

I'm just looking for a general response like "it gets updated every 3 months" or something like that.

Um, what phones are you expecting to see and why are you expecting to see them?

This would be based off the handset manufacturer (Apple/Samsung/Huawei etc) - would be having a look on global tech websites for new phone developments rather than the Spark site

The Mate 9 is the only major flagship that I know of that is not there so I assumed the OP is either after that or something that isn't a flagship phone.

For example that page lists the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016). I'd say it's reasonable to expect them to list the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) in the near future.

No point looking at manufacturer websites, they won't be the ones that I get my service from.

Considering that phone has not released in New Zealand yet, I am not surprised they do not have a price for it.

Let me rephrase the question.

'Does anyone know if Spark lists new phones on their website as soon as they become available in NZ?'

Yes the website will get updated when we launch a new handset.  However that doesn't mean it's updated with every single new handset available, only the ones we source via the OEM.
