hio77: This is a cache issue. Clear cache on browser and things will work again.

What's happened is the router is updated. For whatever reason your browser is still using old files.
Causes things to point to the wrong place and not load or update correctly.

Of course, since correct expiration and naming of resources that may be cached is basic web dev stuff, most people will never encounter things like that these days except on things like this, apparantly coded up by muppets.

Maybe cache control couldn't fit in? Browser addon caused extra cavhinh etc?

Could be a number of reasons. I've found this to occur on fritz cambiumn dlink netgear and hawaui gear at times.

Browser cache issues are incredibly common and I'd probably encounter them once every couple of week across various brands of gear. My last encounter was last week with some Grandstream VoIP gateways.

Hi Team,

I have an HG630B, the software version is V100R001C55B016.  I gather this is rev 016, a bit older than the current versions.

In December last year I changed from Spark to TrustPower for internet services and kept the HG630b in place.  I was able to get everything connected and running except access through the WIFI.

The issue typically shows on the HG630b as the WIFI is connected and a message comes up saying the WIFI is up but is not connected to the internet.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestion for this, other than setting up the TrustPower modem?

All assistance is appreciated.

Cheers

Bernard

Thanks,

I have read the posts in the thread and I have already downloaded the upgrade file.  I see the process blows away any settings.  Since there is a fair jump in the version number I gather it is best to screen capture all the current settings and then rebuild them as required.

How long does the upgrade process take?

Cheers Bernard
