This is not a complaint...just curious.

I have noticed over the last 3 and maybe over the last 6 months. My sync rates have been getting better ---- higher and higher...

The sync rate use to be in the mid 7000 Kbps range for years. Over the last few months ---- (progressing to today)started getting in the mid 8000 Kbps, then the mid 9000Kbps and then 10000Kbps.

But today's sync rate of 11555Kbps (and positive speedtest results) and my upstream has gone from 800Kbps to 1213Kbps...Why am I getting better and better sync rates? Is someone (chorus?) making network improvements to ensure (?) I keep my copper connection?

And people moving from xDSL to UFB where available - reduces crosstalk from other xDSL connections.

For ADSL2+?

And I am 3km from the box down the road. I just wasn't ever expecting much more speed.
