I would like to move from EnomCentral domain name hosting provider to Spark as the prices for .com and .net are too expensive, like US$50 per year.

Spark prices looks ok like NZ$23 per year.

Is anyone hosting the domain names with Spark, is it possible to control DNS records?

Big thanks!

I strongly recommend you to use a register that only does DNS registration and does it right, like metaname

Don't they resell for Domainz these days? If so it could be their control panel?

I recently worked on one for a friend through spark

3 free pages based on a basic CMS. Resold portal for registry australia

https://www.netregistry.com.au/web-hosting/cloud-hosting/

You can use spark URLs and do the work. Or go direct there and use same credentials.

Metaname are extremely good. Many people around here use them. Would also highly recommend.

No I meant Spark were reselling Domainz services. So if you buy a domain from Spark, you are buying from Domainz with Spark branding. At least that appeared to be the case in 2015, unless they have changed provider since then.

I've found Discount Domains to be very good.

I've always used domains4less for my personal domains, and have used godaddy and freeparking for work and not had problems with any of them. That aside, despite never having used them I've heard lots of recommendations for metaname.

in terms of spark, You get a full panel to be able to make changes, Core team are also there to support you.

Just clarification, webservices handles the sales side of things, Core handles the support/troubleshooting side.

Webservices are normally pretty good at handing cases to core when required though.
