It would help everyone here if you could provide more information - a very important tidibit such as what phone are you talking about?

How to ask questions.

You can sign up to xtra email only for $2.81 a month (this option may be now non-existent)

Or just use any of the big 3 free email providers from your phone (works with PC browsers too)

Buy ANY Telecom phone (except a Samsung a420 or Nokia 2505 or 1325) and visit the following address in your phone. Charged at 1c per 1KB or $10 per Megabyte used.

Yahoo-Xtra email: nz.m.yahoo.com/p/mail/

Gmail: m.gmail.com

Hotmail: mobile.live.com/hm/

Enjoy.

To expand on what paradoxsm said, you could sign up for a gmail account and either forward your Woosh emails to it, or set gmail to check your Woosh POP3 account, then use either the WAP browser to check gmail, or download the gmail app if the Envy supports it (not sure).

Wouldn't using Samsung Envy mean you'd be using WAP to get to email? If so.. that's painfully slow isn't it?

If you're stuck in the 90s, sure.... ;)

Gmail is quite fast via WAP or the java app, so long as you have a reasonably fast phone.
