Hi Everyone

I just joined NordVPN and am trying to get it to work on the Spark HG659b.

I have followed these instructions: FOUND HERE

But of course the reason I am posting is that after entering my details etc the VPN still won't connect and says 'disconnected'.

Anyone out there run a VPN on this router?? Any tips welcome.

Thanks!

Update: I'm choosing to use the apps, it's easier to switch regions quickly. I installed open VPN on my Android TV and loaded up some nordvpn files there and it seems ok. The speed varies at times though. Thanks to psychnurse who left a me a message yesterday. It's seems this router, while it looks like it has the ability does not support this type of set up.

I've personally never been able to get a VPN to work on the (Spark) router itself. I've always used the web apps.

No worries, there are ways to do what you want but it will require you to buy another router. However if you are happy with the Nord app then problem solved.
