Sorry not sure what you mean, but I assume you mean you cannot access the web interface on port80 via the LAN? or something else, because that should work, well does no the numerous ones I have dealt with.

I mean to say that I'm setting up a WEB personal page on the router to point to 192.X.X.3 but opening the public network will show the routing WEB login interface instead of my point address X.X.X.3

Ah, gotya, I think you might be pushing the feature set of a small domestic router, changing the service ports is not something I have seen on domestic grade stuff, so you might need to invest in something else.

If its an ADSL or VDSL wan connection then the Huawei's can be bridged quite easily and then you can use a more SME type router, ie Mikrotik or EdgeRouter comes to mind.

HG659b doesn't have hairpin NAT (sometimes also known as NAT loopback) so you cannot access your web page at your public IP address from inside your LAN. But it should work from outside (e.g. if you test from another broadband connection or mobile data connection).

Ahh good point, I did rightly or wrongly assume he was testing from outside, because one would assume he would test as intended for use, ie from outside.
