Yep, just buy a new 240GB plan, cancel your current. Downgrade plan a month later (unless you find you're using the extra data of course).

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.

Has anyone tried a different network SIM in the b618 (e.g. 2degrees), to see if it works, or if the device is network/sim locked?

Correct

Did not realize... That opens up the market here to make TS9 far more easily and cheaply obtainable then i suppose..

MF910 takes TS9 so it tends to be what i have on hand...

Yes, I have tried Vodafone SIM no problem. Just need to create new profile with appropriate APN.

Yep, LTE-CA will make a massive speed improvement :)

Out of interest, does it make any difference to the stability of the latency? I've cut over to fibre now, so it's largely moot, but remember I was getting latency variations in the range of 5 to 40 ms above the baseline, and on occasion 100's of ms higher for prolonged periods of time, whereas on fibre everything is dead stable as you'd expect.

Was getting ~30mbps/15mbps ish most of the time and 40mbps/20 if I put the w/less router on the window ledge - raw speed was actually more than fast enough for anything I was trying to do.

Can't say i've tested it enough to know. i just love the very high 3 digit numbers i see on speedtests with it ;)

Latency fluctuations seem smaller compared to the B315. Mine is stable at around 50ms to Hamilton.

Did an off peak test this morning. pretty good considering i havent connected the external antennas yet!

Can someone confirm which bands will aggregate on spark/skinny? I purchased a Telstra 4GX modem (Netgear AC810s) which I'm getting service on, but have not yet witnessed CA type speeds on it yet.

It wont be 850 as Spark only use that for 3G (WCDMA)

Jaycar do seem to have some. I'm sure they will become more common now which will be great.
