Further remedial work has been done to restore resilience as well now. There's no evidence to suggest that there are any performance or capacity issues remaining as a result of this change and fix. If you are still having issues (xolu?) then I would say they are unrelated and should follow normal support processes.

Yeah, it seems to be a recurring issue for me particularly on international sites I haven't visited recently. It will take a long time to connect, eventually time out then it will refresh the page and connect just fine. I'll contact support. Thanks for looking into it.

good to know, oddly at work i couldn't open this very thread along with the international pages.  all seems fine now, i just blamed it on the work happening in the street
