So I've got a Spark supplied Galaxy Note 10, latest software update, etc. VoLTE is enabled.

Still dropping back to 3G when making calls. Never seen the VoLTE symbol.

What should I be checking?

As long as VoLTE is enabled in your phone settings, there is nothing much to be done. Phased migration of eligible customers to 4G HD Calling (VoLTE) is in process.

Is it likely that VoWIFI will come to Spark MVNOs (thinking Orcon in particular)? Obviously Skinny would come first

Yes, Skinny would come first. But VoWifi is a faraway thing, as VoLTE is still not completely deployed. Not to forget the phones supported by carriers are very limited at present.

I assume you mean VoLTE for MVNOs - eventually it will, we're working through the integration and testing of various MVNOs, etc

What about phones supported? Will it be limited just for a few popular models?

We're always working with handset manufacturers to add support for Spark's VoLTE network, but as you can appreciate devices that are 'older' or not directly sourced via Spark will be challenging to support...

I agree on the Older devices wont be supported. Will be interesting to see if Spark will support newer phones that are not sourced from them. Like the Nokia 8.1 that I have

Interesting. Took my phone out of flight mode on arrival this morning and the VoLTE symbol popped up. Wasn’t aware it was in the offing. I can only assume my Spark number has just been added to the list because I haven’t had a software update, or even a reboot for a few weeks. Good old Geekzone, I knew I’d find an answer to what the ‘new’ symbol in my notification bar was (Samsung S10).

Anyone have any tricks to get VoLTE working on an iPhone 7? Phone is running 13.4.1 with 4G voice toggled on. Cheers

@Aucklandjafa Do you get VoLTE with SIM in another handset? The issue might not be the handset but on the Spark side and VoLTE not provisioned on your mobile number

Is anyone having issues with call quality after enabling VOLTE?
I have been having intermittent calls incoming and outgoing sounding distorted and speech sounding slow motion.

Looks as thow if I want this I have to buy a new phone which will have to be one of those listed in the FAQ even though my Motorola phone shows a greyed out VOLTE switch in the settings menu.
