My iPhone 8 now has a VoLTE toggle with iOS 14 (Settings/Mobile/Mobile Data Options/Voice & Data). I haven't been able to actually test it yet though.

Edit: Nope.

I look forward and have been patiently waiting for VoLTE on Skinny.

I suspect we have not been given a time-frame?

As Skinny are a niche market, I would not be surprised if a lot of their users are not running capable devices — hence perhaps being a low priority from their perspective. Either that or Spark are preferring to give a market advantage exclusively to Spark users on their own infrastructure.

Both my wife and I have Huawei Nova 5T and are on Skinny. I got it a few weeks ago. She hasn't yet so I've been assuming it must be a staged rollout.

Correct - staged/staggered. DM me your/wife's number if you want me to push it along.

I have a Motorola G4 Plus and I can see the VoLTE switch but it is grayed out.  When you get around to  provisioning it will   I be able to turn it on??

Why Telcos are biased to certain phones for VoLTE availability? I have Nokia 9 PV and no VoLTE option. Though Spark/Skinny sell other Nokia models, only Nokia 7.1 is listed under VoLTE supported phones.

@old3eyes Is this handset on the approved VoLTE list for Skinny? If not then slim chance VoLTE will work

I have no idea as it was bought from PB Tech..   Like most phones sold here most likely  not..

There is a process that we work through with the device manufacturers to certify that VoLTE on their devices works well with our network, this is a development process that takes time and effort from both the operator and the handset manufacturer. We're always working to try and onboard more devices where possible, but several factors come into play. Unfortunately even if the phone's hardware supports VoLTE it's not guaranteed we'll be able to get it working.

So from that I take it as "Don't get  your hopes up"  :-)

Can I please check whether the Galaxy S20+ (purchased from Noel Leeming) is meant to be able to use VoLTE on Skinny? Or has it not been certified yet?

It should be - check if you have the VoLTE option under network settings when your skinny SIM is in. If so dm me your phone number and I’ll nudge your migration along.
