Have a situation that is more annoying than anything else, but just wondered if anyone else is experiencing this.  First the infrastructure:

Telecom Pro Advanced (FS/FS), 3Com wireless modem/router synched @ 8300 kbps, Netgear MP101 Music Player

Most of the day I have music streaming from US stations.  For the past 3 days I consistently get drops in my connection about every 5 - 10 minutes.  The music dies and I have to manually re-connect to the station after every 3rd failure.  As I said it is mainly annoying, unless it is a symptom of something more sinister?

Just wondering if anyone else seeing spotty service of late.

I’ve not experienced anything like that. Have you tried various stations to ensure the problemn is not at source?

Yes, I should have pointed out that it is happening across all the stations I usually listen to (US-based) which are spread across the country (not the same server).

I also noticed that when I do a tracert, the 3rd hop always times out (see below), is that normal?

Tracing route to sc1.abacast.com [216.218.147.60]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
