jazzkiwi:

antonknee: Why not see if Vodafone will supply you with their fixed wireless product? May have better coverage/capacity in the area and will be cheaper than RBI.

As mentioned our cooper line down the road is horrendous which chorus refuse to improve so ADSL is out of the question

Like Skinny, Vodafone has a fixed wireless product that uses 4G. Understand DSL is out of the question.

That said it sounds you are more rural than I thought.

Would encourage you to look closely at whatever options @hio77 is able to point you in the direction of - he is very switched on when it comes to this sort of thing (as you may have worked out already 🙂)

Also feel free to PM your details. I know the area well, and may have an option depending on line of site to Quinns road. I can also install RBI if it comes to that.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.

Cel-Fi supply and installer - boost your mobile phone coverage legally
