I don't think it is. I have dual SIM in my iPhone 13 PM and can see Voda has WiFi Calling, but the Spark line does not seem to indicate that yet.

WiFi calling will launch 23/08 with Spark - will not be a full roll out from my understanding but should be fully rolled out by late September. Initially will only work with Samsung A33 5G (could be more Samsungs potentially at launch)

Here's hoping more at launch.  Wonder if they have a roadmap  of when different models are going to be added like VF did??

Mid September onwards will have iPhone 8 and above able to use it.

Samsung devices will need to be updated to the latest firmware which rolled out on the 21st of July

Other devices unsure of at this stage but some may need to be manually enabled similar to what had happened when Volte rolled out. (Don't quote me on this please)

iOS 16 will be approx 1 month later so my hunch is it'll be included in the Carrier update that will come out with the new version

Also I wonder if they will make it available to the likes of Skinny right away

No hunch required, iOS 16 dev beta 4 has the carrier update (Spark NZ 50.7.3) with the setting NOW. I'm picking when the network activates it on 23 August, it'll work in iOS 16 beta too. Will test at that time.

Confirming it's present in iOS 16 dev beta 4 (x2). Not currently able to use it (network setting).

Apple Delay: Due to an issue detected in the test build, Spark Wi-Fi calling will now not be available in the Mid-September software release to end users on eligible Apple Devices. iOS16 will still add the VoWIFI toggle for Spark/Skinny users – but the feature will not work until a subsequent update to fix the issue. We expect this to be approximately mid to late October. This means that any customers who install iOS16 will see the feature visible but will not be able to use the service until further notice.

What about other makers, are they also being delayed by another month?

Presumably this is an issue in software on Spark's side? Or are you implying it'll need an iOS 16 update?

Everything else looks to go as planned as i have stated above. A list will be transparent a few weeks after the initial release.

It does because if it's only an IOS thing then the rest of the phone brands should not be penalized.
