I remember roaming in the US in 2009 (on AT&T, from memory) and using EDGE. That's probably long gone by now.

"Would Spark allow prepaid users to roam on 4G"

Hi there - we enabled all prepaid roamers in the US to be able to roam on 4G late last week, and are working our way through the rest of the base.

The message sent to roamers suggests that VoLTE Roaming is being worked on. :-)

Cheers

Unfortunately since sometime last week LTE roaming ceased to work for me. Now I'm stuck on T-Mobile 3G.

So you had 4G on T-Mobile for a while? Sometimes restarting can help allow the handset to select 4G so give that a go.

Its also possible the 4G signal is weak.

If you are still having issues give our help desk a call +64 3 371 0866 they can reset the connection on our side to see if that helps.

I have pretty good LTE coverage where I am now (full bars on my local SIM) but whenever I try registering on ATT or TMo LTE the handset get handed down to UMTS. I’ve never been able to get on TMo LTE.

I’ve tried restarting but that didn’t seem to help. I’ll try giving the help desk a ring.
