Could someone please give me the Dialup profile settings for the Watcher app.
Usually it pulls all the settings off the Tstick, but this laptop is causing me issues ><

First it doesn't recognise it in the port, have to replug about 5 times. Now it comes up with "Telecom New Zealand" but no Connect to profile is available and I am supposed to add it manually.

Hi, You May need to reload the software looks like it has been corrupted.

However you can re-create the profile by using the following settings should be

dial string:= #777

username:= mobile@jamamobile

no password

Thanks. That matches what I got from someone just before.
Unfortunately it just isn't working :(

I have removed the app. Removed all traces of it in the registry. Installed via the msi.
Still no data profile loads.
If I manually create a profile, it is never remembered by the watcher app. I can see the profile is created in the Network Connections folder, but running that does nothing.

If I manually create a dialup connection with those settings then connection always fails on username/password.

About to try it in another laptop now to check if the stick is the issue. Then ring Telecom - which I am trying to avoid.

Works in another laptop. On my PC it self installs and works very quickly.
I'd love to format (kick) this laptop, but prroooooobably shouldn't :D

Yep corrupt installs can be a pain, since it works on another PC, it is most definitely a corrupt install.
Make sure you also delete the Sierra Wireless folder from
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\LocalSettings\Application Data\
C:\Documents and Settings\"YOUR PROFILE NAME"\LocalSettings\Application Data\

Yeah I had done that too along iwth every registry entry, and the USBSTOR and USB registry folders.
He used a data card previous to this T-Stick.

I just advised a rebuild.

Thanks for the help.

I've had this problem too, it was where I had a 580 card then upgraded to the T-Stick.
The issue was that the profile created by the 2 cards was the same so when we plugged in the t-stick it wouldn't create the dial up profile needed because there was already one there for the 580.
The problem can be fixed in 2 ways - you can either delete the dialup profile and run the setup again or plug in the t-stick then go into the properties of the network connection and ensure there is a tick beside the 597 card under connect using.

We also found that you couldn't create a new profile in the watcher software until made one of the above changes.

Hope that helps

That sounds similar to the fix I had when I had this issue last time. But that was a faulty Tstick swapping to a new Tstick.
That fix didn't work this time.

as per other posts, ensure you have removed all sierra wireless folders and files from the program files directory tree. I have found after installing many of these one common denomiator is antivirus/firewall programs especially norton & AVG, disable these prior to install then renable after install. can be glitcy. I follow a set routine of disable av / firewall and never have problems also dont use the same usb port as you did in the very begining.
