Theres a lot of recently unemployeed people with nothing to do but sit around and get 2.5K of cash and prizes, and a chance of talking to John Campbell on the telly.

We all remember what a media circus the Vodafone iPhone launch was hehe.

I live about 1200 metres from the Newmarket store, but I got the small business expo tomorrow, I'd do it Thursday night if no one is there, and go to work straight after.

I'd want to get the telly thought, and I think someone said it is randomly picked out of the people waiting. :-)

Let the giveaways and candy begin in the bidding for our love and attention by the multibillion telco's... Whats 2degrees to step up with, does the fiery upstart have candy as well???

Gott to agree with you there. Once again those in the smaller centres (palmy, napier etc) miss out on the chance to get a freeby. Think this is where the advertising and promotion of the campaign falls down. Stink one Telecom.

Vodafone mite be competing against you, but at least all users are able to win the $1000, not just the big city dwellers.

Look if you are willing to wait in line for 24 hours or more to get your free phone, then perhaps you might also be willing to take a 3-4 hour drive to your nearest major centre.

I'd far prefer a competition where you can directly affect the results rather than a stupid randomly drawn 'competition'.
