Hi

Since using my new device (touch pro2) I cant work out why my incoming texts are exactly 1 hour ahead eg I receive a text (as per the timestamp) at 7pm but it is only 6pm?

I tested this by sending a text to myself today at 6.11am and I received it instantly with a timestamp of 7.11am.

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm having same issue on xt with my iPhone. It's weird as everything else is the correct time, even the time of txts on my bill is fine.

Fine here on my SE W705a. Check that your timezone and DST are set correctly on the phone.

Some phones try and compensate for daylight savings. Just put your time zone to +13GMT

Same on my 3GS. I think it's only been doing this since NZDST began.

Yes it will be, a patch is being tested to ensure nothing else is affected.  ETA is end of Oct.
Nokia, WM and Iphones are affected.

I have been having this problem on my Nokia 6120 and now my iPhone. All my friends on XT with Nokias have the same problem and it has been happening for about a month. I can't beleave Telecom have not fixed this yet. Totally unacceptable in my opinion.

Its probably your settings mines works fine and I have every XT phone on the market. released and non. It was an issue but this should have been fixed, some phones will need to be updated and patched but this does not include Nokia 6120 or Iphone

Hi the patch to resolve this was loaded into our SMSC last week for users south of Taupo, should be resolved for the rest Northland, this week once the final load is completed.
